Pronunciation Note: In this story, there are some words in the language of the main character. His language has many vowels, but are all pronounced separately. For example, 'tai' doesn't sound like 'tie', it is pronounced 'tah-ee'. Even before I opened the envelope, I knew. No no no, stupid human words, it isn't an envelope. It was an aleiya. Not like ones back home, but still wrapped in blue, zigzag poenein leaves. Not real leaves, but cut out from human paper. So, when I saw that, I knew I wasn't the only one.

After he let the cattle out, he went out to his backyard, accompanied by his herding dog, Izzie, and another tiny pot of cacti, setting it down with a collection on a small mound of Arizona dirt. Sitting at the unmarked, fake grave, he replayed the events over and over in his head, trying to figure out what to do next. He had woken up that night to a sound from above, all too similar to the sound that heralded her coming twenty years ago. Arms laden with sports bags and textbooks, I stumbled up the stairs of the bus, handed the driver my ticket without dropping the notebook under my arm, and scanned for an empty seat. There were none. Sighing, I occupied a standing spot near a pole to lean on, and began to rearrange the high school student's paraphernalia hanging off my body. As I was thinking how I'd be standing here all the way home with today's luck, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to meet the brightest green eyes I'd ever seen, surrounded by a halo of freckles and dark red waves. The young man smiled.

Who in hell would've thought today could've been so painful. All the memories keep coming back in waves... I just want to give up. i like totoro. deal with it. so i guess some kind of update is in order. im in college now, and produced a tidy amount of art in drawing class, but ya know, its mostly boring things like still lives and nekkid ladies. ive done almost no painting and little drawing in my notebooks during class. there are a few things, however, which i guess i could upload here, problem is i find scanning to be such a hassle and i am a very lazy bum. so no promises (unless i actually get a comment from the 39 watchers i have (although it makes sense why theyre so quiet since the vast majority is from 2007-2008...)) however, im still doing a lot of faving and

college update

so im in college and i havent drawn much aside from doodles. such is life. sure im in a drawing class, but its all still lives and nekkid ledes. nothing wonderful. and im not in a creative writing class, so theres nothing from that end (probably next semester tho) but, i am starting a 30 day drawing challenge over at my blog! http://czajnikzherbatka.blogspot.com/ which nobody has commented on ~foreveraloneplz (https://www.deviantart.com/foreveraloneplz) the challenge looks simple and interesting enough for me to actually finish it, i hope. and for those who just became my watchers (...although i dont know why), just letting you know that this stuff is ancient history... and e
